About TAWASANET

A national umbrella organisation of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) working in the Water and Sanitation sector in Tanzania. Established in August 2008, and officially registered on 10th October 2008 under the NGO Act. 20 local NGO’s took the initial initiative of establishing the WASH network to mark the beginning, as a platform to engage and advocate at the national level.
