Coordination and Networking

Influencing changes or improvement of WASH policies and legal framework, through learning and sharing platforms on WASH issues at the identified zonal levels. Not only that but also, networking through linking members (among themselves), and with other related or likeminded WASH stakeholders.

Documentation and Dissemination

is obliged in documenting key WASH sector information and best practices for wider dissemination through TAWASANET member organizations; Simplifying and producing WASH policies, laws and regulations in the form of booklets, posters, brochures for easy understanding

Policy, Research and Advocacy

Conducing evidence based researches for advocacy through sector dialogue mechanisms including Technical or Thematic Working Groups (TWG’s), Annual Joint Water Sector Reviews (JWSR’s), producing annual Equity Monitoring Reports so as to utilize oversight role of the sector; use of Media to increase visibility and profiling TAWASANET; Parliamentary engagements; Conducting sector budget analysis focusing on WASH financing and budgets.

Capacity Building

Enhancing member organizations with capacities to undertake their projects and administrative functions including; advocacy skills, WASH governance, resource mobilization, communication & networking, media engagement, researches around WASH aspects, institutional governance and other related fields. These are conducted through assessment and trainings of members organizations
